Went diving on Sunday. I dove a ship wreck. What a beautiful thing to see how nature takes care of herself. The life that grows from such a tragedy is amazing!
My feet are raw now because I didn't realize we were going to be on an island. I left my shoes on the boat. Well, that boat was not the same boat we came back on. Hopefully I will get them back next weekend.
Meanwhile, enjoy these new pictures. I didn't get any of the ship because the camera buttons stick in from the pressure when I get below a certain depth. I went to 88 feet on that dive! Very cool!!
Well, I finally did my first SCUBA dive today. Actually, I did two dives. Tomorrow I will do two more. I didn't think we would be allowed to take pictures, so I didn't take my camera. I should have because other people did. Tomorrow I will and will post great reef photos on Monday. In the meanwhile, here is the official photo of me that is on our command board.
After two days of diving (Saturday morning before work and Sunday) my left ear won't clear. I am on two meds to fix it. Here are some photos from the dives. When I got to 60 feet, the buttons on the camera got stuck in. I had to ascent until they would push again, then it worked OK. Enjoy.
